Common Portal Errors and How to Fix Them
"File size exceeds maximum limit"

"Invalid file format"
This tool outputs JPG regardless of input format. If the portal rejects the file, ensure you're uploading the downloaded file and not the original PNG/WebP.
"Image dimensions not within allowed range"
This tool handles file size, not pixel dimensions. For dimension requirements (e.g., 200×230 pixels), resize the image first using any photo editor or your phone, then compress using this tool.
"File size too small"

Tips for a Good Passport Photo for Exam Portals
- •Background: Use a plain white or light grey background. Avoid patterned walls, shadows, or furniture in the frame.
- •Lighting: Natural light from a window facing you is ideal. Avoid harsh overhead lighting that creates shadows under the chin.
- •Expression: Neutral expression, mouth closed, eyes open and forward-facing.
- •Framing: Face should occupy 70–80% of the frame. Include the top of your head and your chin.
- •Recency: Most portals require a photo taken within the last 3–6 months. Do not use an old photo even if it looks similar.
